General Instructions

Fort Hancock ISD remains committed to providing at-home instruction so our students can continue to make academic progress. Thank you for your partnership, your patience, and support as we transition to at-home learning.

  1. Please keep in mind as students and parents begin adjusting to doing schoolwork at home, your student’s teacher and other campus staff will be best equipped to help with questions about specific assignments. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your school, or one of the resources listed below, for help.
  2. During the time school is closed, assignments and lessons will be delivered to all AISD students either online or through weekly paper-and-pencil packets.
  3. The Remote Learning web page contains links that the students use for various classroom activities or assignments.

FHISD WiFi Coverage & Help Desk Information

WiFi Coverage
FHISD has turned up campus-based wireless access points in an attempt to strengthen the WiFi coverage in school parking lots. By turning up our wireless access, staff and students of Fort Hancock ISD who need Internet access can park in a school parking lot and obtain connectivity while still observing social distancing guidelines.

The Technology Help Desk is available to all FHISD staff and Parent/Legal Guardian of a FHISD student. If you are a FHISD staff member or student, and in need of immediate technical support, please call our Help Desk directly at (915) 769-1613 between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM on normal school days. Our technical staff will work to provide a solution as quickly as possible.  If you need to submit a service request (example: if you need to have a new printer setup or you need a new software application installed) please email us through our district support email (information below).

Email Help Desk

Why submit your request online? The Email Help Desk system is a resource that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those that want to submit a help request.  When you submit your request via email it is routed to the person responsible for supporting your issue in your location. Emails are sent to support staff so they are alerted as soon as possible during normal business hours.

What kind of support is provided? Through the Email Help Desk, you can request support for Technology Services (computers, printers, software, network issues, new purchases, email, accounts, etc.)
